  1. Family Reading - 2015

    January 6, 10:00 AM - March 2, 5:00 PM @ 510 North Broadway

    Family Reading is a chance for families to read together, play together and be together. Each family registers for the program online. Each family, at least two members at a time, read 20 minutes a day for 20 days from January 6th - March 2nd. The last day to Register is February 10th, but families may log days until March 2nd. There will be reading groups, crafts and programs for all during this time. Remember, Reading may happen anywhere! When all 20 days are logged, families are entered in for a chance to win a $50 gift card. The winner will be announced at the end of the Family Reading Program on March 2nd, at the Magic by Kameron Magic Show

  2. Bookmobile Open House

    January 30, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Just west of the Library on North 29th Street

    Stop by and see the Billings Public Library Bookmobile. You can check out books, books on CD, videos and music CDs - or just see what we have on board. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded!

  3. Friday Fun!

    January 30, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ 510 North Broadway

    Where LEGOs, games and imaginations come together! Come enjoy free play with LEGOs of all sorts of colors and shapes. Try putting together a car, house or even a helicopter! If LEGOs are not your thing, come play games with your child. Every Friday we do not have a craft, Friday Fun will be back in the Craft Corner for children and families to enjoy!

  4. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

    January 31, 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM @ 2nd Floor Conference Room and Computer Classroom

    The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax preparation and e-filing to people with basic returns who made $50,000 or less in 2014. Volunteer tax preparers are certified through IRS testing, and all returns are prepared on IRS-authorized software. Taxpayers must bring W–2 forms and all other documentation needed to prepare their returns. Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring your documents to the Large Conference Room on the 2nd Floor 10:30am–3:30pm, on Saturdays through the tax season, starting January 24. (Service not available February 7, 2015) VITA is sponsored through HRDC.
