Family Reading January 14 - February 26 2013.
Register online and read together for 20 minutes a day for 20 days. Each family that participates gets one adult and one children's book. Families are also eligible for a prize and invited to join us for Magic by Kameron on February 26, 2013.

Banned -- Challenged -- Censored is the sculpture work of George Cole, Collin Letts and Sara Williams of Bozeman.
By using actual banned or challenged books and the torn pages of literature and art, the artists ask you to consider the many questions raised by censorship and attempts to control intellectual freedom.

Shaye Skovgaard is the Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent for Yellowstone County. This Spring, the Extension Service is offering a financial webinar series through the Parmly Billings Library. The Solid Finances series is presented by Marsha A. Goetting, Montana State University Professor and Joel Schumacher Associate Extension Specialist and was created to provide financial education opportunities for working Montanans. The goal of this series is to provide accurate, unbiased financial education and educational resources to working Montanans. Participants in the series will increase their ability and confidence in making informed financial decisions.

The yard waste program will be suspended from December 1st, 2012 through March 31st, 2013. We will begin picking up the yard waste barrels on April 1st, 2013.
December 2, 2012 - May 5, 2013
The landfill will be closed on Sundays through May 5, 2013. The landfill hours on Sundays will be noon to 5pm starting May 5, 2013.
January 19 - January 27
Garbage collection for Martin Luther King Day, January 21st, 2013 will be on schedule all week and the Landfill will be open on January 21st, 2013 from 8:00am - 5:30pm
