Summer 2013 Runway 10L/28R Closure

During the Summer of 2013, the Billings Logan International Airport will be rehabilitating Runway 10L/28R, which is the main runway used by commercial service airlines to transport passengers and freight.

Electrical code updated to the 2011 NEC

The State of Montana has adopted the 2011 NEC, and will be effective beginning on April 18, 2013 for the City of Billings. Contractors are responsible for any and all NEC requirements and changes in the 2011 NEC.

Digital Bookmobile National Tour

Billings Public Library hosts Overdrive's Digital Bookmobile on Friday, May 31 from 11 am to 3 pm. The 18-wheel interactive exhibit of everything e-book will be a block away from the library at the corner of Sixth Ave North & North 30th St. Come on down!

Summer Reading registration is underway!

Library Changes Name: Billings Public Library

The City Council and County Commissioners have approved a name change for the library. It will now be called the "Billings Public Library." We appreciate your patience as we transition our resources, website and signage to the new name.

Memorial Day

In observance of Memorial Day, MET Transit's offices will be closed and the buses will not be operating.

Last Day of School

The last day of school is Friday, May 31st. Effective June 1st through August 27th the Tripper and Grand Kicker buses will not be operating. They will resume their regular schedule on Wednesday, August 28th.

Tripper Buses and Grand Kicker

The last day of school is May 31st. Effective June 3, 2013 through August 27, 2013 the tripper buses and the Grand Kicker will not be running. They will resume their regular schedules on August 28, 2013.
