    May 10, 7:00 PM @ Community Room

Artful Women of Montana is co-sponsored by Zonta Club of Billings and Billings Public Library. Please join us for our discussion with Kate Morris. Morris has been involved with art her entire life, preferring 3 dimensional work. She received her BFA from the U of M with an emphasis in ceramics and jewelry. Her interest in various materials and processes has led in many directions: textiles, rustic furniture, glass, and ceramics have been her main interests. Always having had clay weave in and out of Morris's life, now having her own kiln has added an integral element to her creative process. Retired from teaching, she has been able to spend more time with art making and building an unusual home in a grain bin north of Great Falls. Join us as we discuss Kate's home and art!

Along the way, he considered our state’s essential character, where we came from and, most of all, what we might be in the process of becoming.
