Apply to be on the Teen Advisory GroupTeen Advisory Group
Teens who are 13 to 19 years of age can apply to be part of our Teen Advisory Group - The TAG.  The TAG advises the library about programs for teens, helps promote services and volunteers at the library.   Click on the TAG icon to learn more about this vital group.

Visit the TECH Lab - A space for teens to come in, hang out and use 21st century technology to create exciting projects in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art and math.

Celebrate Teen Read Week All Month! Create a YouTube Book Review During This 3 Part Workshop Series. All workshops will be held in the TECH Lab from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Participants must be 13 to 18 to take part. Register by calling 657-8258 or stop by the 2nd Floor Help Desk.

Tuesday, Oct. 14th - Script Writing
Be prepared to write a script for the book of your choice.

Tuesday, Oct. 21st - Taping
Videotape your 2 minute book review.
Tuesday, Oct. 28th - Edit & Create a QR Code
Edit your video clip and post it to YouTube. Create a QR code that will enable others to watch your video.

Other Teen Events:

Wednesday, Oct. 22nd - Milk Jug Ghost Craft
Bring lights (such as a string of mini lights, a battery operated tea light, or a glow stick in favorite ghostly colors) for your ghost. All other supplies will be provided. Teens and tweens are welcome.
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Teen Area

Thursday, Oct. 23rd - Teen Book Group
Read The Dead by Charlie Higson and show up to talk about it on Oct. 23rd. We provide the snacks; you provide the energy and the dialogue. 4:00 to 5:00pm, Teen Study 2 (Green Room)
