Meeting Rooms
General Meeting Room information
The Library has three meeting rooms and a computer classroom available for public use. They are available from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday, or from 10:30am to 4:00 pm Friday and Saturday. To book a meeting room, call (406) 657-8258.
- Prior to any meeting, the booking must be confirmed by completion of a meeting room reservation form at the Library.
- Meetings must be open to the public at no charge to those attending and may be held only during the time from one hour after the Library opens until one hour before the Library closes.
- Private, commercial activities are prohibited and City Code prohibits alcoholic beverages in public buildings.
- These provisions may be waived for Library-sponsored, Library-related, City and County meetings and events.
- To the extent possible, meeting room users will return tables and chairs to their original configuration.
- Multiple meetings may be scheduled as follows for any meeting room: daily for five days (one week), weekly for four weeks (one month), or monthly for four months, if the group meets regularly.
Second Floor Large Study Room
The Second Floor Large Study Room has a maximum capacity of approximately 10 friendly people, and is available on any day the library is open, including Sundays. It is available between 10:30 am and 8:00 pm Monday-Thursday, and between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm Friday-Saturday. For Sunday meetings the room is available between 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm, when the Library is open on Sundays.
Second Floor Small Study Room
The Second Floor Small Study Room has a maximum capacity of approximately 5 friendly people, and is available on any day the library is open, including Sundays. It is available between 10:30 am and 8:00 pm Monday-Thursday, and between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm Friday-Saturday. For Sunday meetings the room is available between 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm, when the Library is open on Sundays.
Second Floor Computer Classroom
The Computer Classroom has 12 PCs equipped with standard office software and internet. The classroom is used most often by Librarians facilitating classes for the public. With Administrative approval, it is available for training or taking proctored online tests. Food and beverages are not permitted. It is available each open day, including Sundays from 1:30 pm until 4:00 pm.
Third Floor Meeting Room & Broadway Room
- Third floor meeting room space will be booked for one meeting at a time, dependent on availability, no more than three months in advance. After one meeting is held, the next may be booked.
- Only one meeting or event at a time will be held on the third floor.
- Meeting room space will not be available on Sundays, due to staffing limitations. Library-sponsored and related events will have booking priority.
