Publicly available bicycle parking is currently in the pilot phase. The City is working with stakeholders to develop a simple process for requesting a public bike rack and there are multiple considerations. You will find the Bicycle Parking Application here.
Each location will be evaluated individually to ensure they meet zoning and planning regulations. The draft bicycle parking guidelines advise their installation.
Example locations of where public bike racks can not be installed:
dirt or grass surfaces
locations with pedestrian throughway conflicts
