Neighborhood task forces are community groups designed to give the residents of each neighborhood a chance to make a difference right where they live. They were initially set up to provide input to city government agencies regarding issues concerning their neighborhoods. Task force meetings give community members a place where they can voice their concerns and listen to ideas on how to improve their neighborhood and surrounding community as a whole.
These meetings are held normally on a monthly basis and follow an established agenda. This is a perfect time for everyone to voice their own ideas on how to change the area for the better in which they live. These meetings are open to the public, including business owners and residents. Remember that your concerns may also be the concerns of your neighbors!
