Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Roundtable Discussion
Tuesday, August 30, 2022
CISA Region 8 is excited to announce open registration for the in-person Critical Manufacturing Sector Security Roundtable. Join us Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm MT in Billings, Montana to learn the latest information about keeping critical manufacturing secure. This unique event is an opportunity for manufacturing partners across Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming to explore topics and share information addressing security and resiliency for manufacturing.
A failure in critical manufacturing security could result in cascading disruptions to other critical infrastructure sectors in multiple regions of our country. As a result, the theme of the roundtable is “The Importance of Critical Manufacturing to Homeland Security and Why It Should Be Important to You.” This Security Roundtable brings together Region 8 manufacturing stakeholders in a format that addresses potential risks to supply chain such as cybersecurity, natural disasters, the cascading effects of local incidents, and physical security. The agenda includes:
- • Critical manufacturing and its importance to American security
- • Critical manufacturing supply chain cascading impacts
- • Criticality of critical minerals
- • Impact of critical minerals on the global and domestic supply chain
- • Impact of critical minerals on national security and the economy
*Registration is required*
In the event a quorum of the Council is present, NO City-related business decisions shall be made.
